Since 1830, Woolrich has been dressing lovers of outdoor activities with garments that have become true icons over time. The Buffalo Check motif has been a symbol of Americana style and workwear since its first appearance and remains one of Woolrich's most powerful visual codes, season after season. As well as the Arctic Parka model, designed in the 1970s for workers engaged in the construction of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System, where maximum daily temperatures hovered around 40 degrees below zero. The line, the pockets and the compartments are still unmistakable today.
